เนื่องด้วยช่วงเวลาที่จัด BTF2018 ในปีนี้ ทางหอศิลป์ กทม (BACC)ถูกจองพื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่เพื่อใช้แสดงงานศิลปะระดับโลก จึงสามารถสนับสนุนพื้นที่สำหรับการจัดเทศกาลละครกรุงเทพ2018 ได้อย่างจำกัด ทางคณะจัดงานจึงต้องปรับลดจำนวนงานแสดงที่BACC และขยายพื้นที่การแสดงไปยังที่อื่นๆ ดังนี้
1.ที่ BACC มีเพียง 3 เวทีคือ -Studio ชั้น4 สำหรับการแสดงคัดสรรค์ จำหน่ายบัตร (รองรับได้6เรื่อง) -ห้อง 401 สำหรับการแสดงละครขนาดเล็กของไทยและต่างประเทศที่คัดสรรค์โดย เทศกาลเท่านั้น จำหน่ายบัตร (รองรับได้3-6เรื่อง) -ออดิทอเรียม ชั้น5 สำหรับการแสดงจากกลุ่มเยาวชนและสถาบันการศึกษา เปิดให้ชมฟรี 2.ที่สวนเฉลิมหล้า สถานีราชเทวี สำหรับการแสดงสำหรับเด็กและครอบครัว Street Performance การแสดงพื้นบ้านและการแสดงแบบประเพณีนิยม เปิดให้ชมฟรี (บรรยากาศงานแบบสวนสันติชัยปราการ บางลำพู แต่ย่อส่วนลง) 3.สถานที่อื่นๆ เช่น Yello House, Buffalo Bridge Gallery, Democrazy theatre Studio ฯลฯ จะอยู่ในหมวด Other Venues ที่ศิลปินต้องประสานงานทำข้อตกลงเงื่อนไขต่างๆกับโรงละครด้วยตัวเองเหมือนทุกปีที่ผ่านมา (ยกเว้น Creative Industries ที่เจาะจงเป็นงานที่ส่วนกลางเลือกสรรรค์ส่งไป) *หมายเหตุ -การแสดงใน 401 จะเป็นการคัดสรรค์เท่านั้น -ในปีนี้ละครขนาดเล็กจำหน่ายบัตรที่เคยแสดงในห้อง401,501,502ของBACC จำนวนมากจำเป็นต้องออกมาหาโรงละครแสดงเอง จึงขอแนะนำให้วางแผนประสานงานกับโรงละครโดยเร็วที่สุด เพื่อแน่ใจว่าจะมีพื้นที่แสดงเพียงพอ

Announcement for BTF2018 Since this year most of the spaces in BACC are already reserved for a world-class art event, the BTF2018 will reduce the number of productions to present in this building and move some programs to other places for example: 1.@BACC. There will be only 3 stages/rooms to perform: -Studio,4th flr. For selected programs (6 productions). -Room 401, 4th flr. For selected mini productions (3-6 productions) -Auditorium, 5th flr. For University productions, free administration. 2.@Chalermlah Park BTS Ratchathewee -for Kids and Family programs, Street Performances, Folk and Traditional Performances, Free Administration. 3.Other Venues Theatres, galleries, studios around Bangkok where artists will deal with the spaces by themselves, conditions will be made by artists and the spaces. Artists would send all PR materials to the festival for the PR issue as every year. Note: -R.401 will be reserved for the selected productions only. -This year more mini-productions will need to be presented at Other Venues by artists themselves, please be suggested that you may start working with any space as soon as possible to be sure that your work will have a space to present.
