Back on stage this year is "San Dan Ka," a B-Floor Theatre classic with 4 awards from the Theatre Critics Association (IATC) in Bangkok Theatre Festival 2013: Best Movement-based Performance, Best Performance by an Ensemble, Best Direction of a Play/Movement-Based Performance, and Best Art Direction. Premiered in 2009, "San Dan Ka" was inspired by the Buddhist Tripitaka and teachings of Bhuddhadasa Bhikkhu. The performance has been best recognized for its portrayal of the infamous side of Buddhism and simple yet strong visual elements. "San Dan Ka" was re-staged in 2013 and 2014, and this year in 2018, the performance is invited to perform in "STORE HOUSE Collection 2018 : Thailand Week Vol.2" in Japan. Meet the veteran monks Sarut Komalittipong and Wasu Wanlayangkool in this latest verison of San Dan Ka, as well as newbie monks Surat Kaewsrikram and Kwin Bhichitkul. Topping it off with the return of the original female cast from 9 years ago - Jarunan Phantachat and Dujdao Vadhanapakorn. Whether you have never seen it before, or you have and want to see it again, B-Floor is presenting preview performances of San Dan Ka before going to STOREHOUSE to the public.
