X Janya Thanasawantkul (Sao Soong Theatre)

Tom Yum Koong, one of the most famous dishes of all Thai food, featuring shrimps and mushrooms in a herbal spicy and sour soup. Sunny Rice Pancake, unknown to most tourists but very easy to cook and simply delicious. Last but not least, Janya Thanaswangkul (Yaah), an actress of Saosoong Theatre Company and a TV star. She has a great sense of humour and incomparable cooking skills. No combination can get any better than this!

THAI SAUSAGE SALAD

Sausage isn't a traditional Thai food but Thais always have a way to make things local. You'll learn how to make a herbal and refreshing sausage salad the Thai way and have a chat with Sukanya (Oh), an actress, director, and researcher in contemporary Thai performances and country music.

PHAD KRAPRAO + KAI JEAW (OMELET)

X Pradit Prasartthong (Anatta Theatre Company)

Phad Kaprao and Kai Jeaw is by far the best kept secret of popular Thai cuisine. The fragrance of basil and spiciness in the chicken or seafood stir-fry dish will set your tastebud on fire (figuratively and literally). But accompanied with light omelet and jasmine rice, the dish is very well balanced in taste and nutrition. Plus, you'll have the rare chance to chat with Pradit Prasartthong of Anatta Theatre, the President of Bangkok Theatre Network (organizer of Bangkok Theatre Festival), Recipien of the 2004 Silpathorn Award in Performing arts, and a veteran in Thai country and contemporary theatre.
